Dr. Mike Aromando, our vet who keeps our Gypsy horses healthy and happy. He went to school for his B.A. in animal science at Cornell, where he also received his Masters in physiology. His first job was at a breeding facility. He has now aquired a couple of other clients with Gypsy Vanner horses in our area and can attest to their wonderful temperaments and hardiness. Our farrier, Ken Leonard, who keeps our Gypsy horses' feet nice and healthy. (The hooves of Gypsy horses are so hard that you only need to trim them, not shoe them — another example of what easy keepers these horses are!) Ken has been in business for many years, as has his father and brother. We are lucky to have him, as he is at the point of scaling down his business and not accepting any new customers.
